Davos Atmosphere and Cryosphere Assembly DACA-13
The Davos Atmosphere and Cryosphere Assembly DACA-13 took place in Davos from 8 - 12 July, 2013.
The
International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences IAMAS and the International Association of
Cryospheric Sciences IACS, both Associations of the International Union
of Geodesy and Geophysics IUGG, had invited the science community to this unique assembly in the mountain resort of Davos, in the heart of the Swiss alps.
More than 900 scientists from atmospheric and cryospheric sciences came to Davos and contributed with talks, posters and discussions. DACA-13 was inspiring, yet relaxed, making it possible to easily develop new co-operations and go back home with fresh ideas and inspiration.
